A few months back I started a renovation on my clients living room.
This was the design concept board I came up with.

Here are some of the before pictures:

The main project of this space was redesigning the fireplace and replacing the windows.

And here is the NEW fireplace and mantle wall!

One word: SHIPLAP! This shiplap wall really made the room look so much bigger and open. And a reclaimed wood mantle really complimented the white wash of the shiplap.

A new slab of slate was put in for the hearth.

Instead of a sofa and 2 chairs, we selected a new couch and love seat. Instead of sourcing a new coffee and side table, their existing pieces were refinished. Look how beautiful they came out!

With the TV on the wall I didn’t want to clutter the mantle too much, so I created these 2 sweet vignettes.

The Benjamin Moore wall color Colorado Gray is the perfect blue/gray shade that really created an airy feel and really complemented my favorite piece in the design plan: this area rug.

I am so in love with how this room came out!
