Hello My Lovelies!

With the nicer weather this weekend I got to tackle some projects I’ve kept on the back burner.

I couldn’t wait to roll up my all weather mats in my front entry way.  They are so practical for snowy wet weather but so drab looking.  I had my eye one these gorgeous area rug on Amazon for a few months, and last week they were onsale!  I couldn’t wait for them to arrive and I was so quick to clean and take up the old ones I don’t have a before picture.

But here is the after!

For my entry setup I got a 3′ x 5′ rug and a 2’8″x8′ runner.  I love the mixture of pink and orange with the blueish grays!

Since weather is still a bit iffy here in NY I wanted to protect the rugs as best I can.  I got this can of Scotchgard Rug & Carpet Protector.

I put 2 coats of product on each rug, so I needed 2 cans.

 

Nothing says spring like a fresh pedicure and a new cute pair of sandals.  I saw these bow & rivets sandals and knew I must have them!  They fit true to size are are so comfortable.

 

We’re still working on getting the backyard patio ready.  We love our backyard but at night it is so dark.  I looked into getting more lighting around our pool but that was crazy $$$$.  I found these great outdoor hanging lights.  We put tall lawn hooks in between every few arborvitaes and were able to go across our entire backyard.  It looks so beautiful and really creates the perfect amount of ambient light.  I also go these mini string lights that i will put up this week on the cabana or side yard.  They twinkle too!  I can’t wait to get set up the fire pit and get to roasting some marshmallows!!
