Today I wanted to share some of my favorite things……and luckily they can all be found on Amazon!

If you don’t have an Amazon Prime account, now is the time to get one.  For a yearly fee you can find almost anything and have it shipped wherever you want, normally within 2 days.  Some items you can even get in 1 day!

What I love for decor accessories:

 

This Makeup Organizer!

I have the large one shown below and got the medium sized one for each of my daughters.  I love makeup and before kids would spend a good amount of my time doing my makeup.  It was usually all spread out on my vanity.  Now that I’m chasing after a 2 year old and usually helping my teenager do their own makeup, i needed to be more organized and have everything easily accessible.  I love all the compartments and sleek simple design, it will work in any bathroom or bedroom decor!  It can also be used for jewelry.

How beautiful is this Brass Terrarium!

I love plants, however I didn’t inherit my father’s green thumb.  This terrarium is perfect because I can fill it with succulents, which don’t require much water.  It’s the perfect size that I can move it around my house, depending on where I want to see it.  Whats even better is I can order the succulents here from Amazon also!  Throw in a soil kit here and your order is complete.

Letter Boards are becoming so popular!  This is one of my favs because my girls love to put their favorite quotes or song lyrics up for our family to see.  And while they alternate weeks, I know its only a matter of time before I order myself another board so they each have their own.  I’ve also ordered extra letters in gold since I’m loving the gold accents around my house lately, but you can also find them in mint green, silver and royal blue.

Decorative Storage Baskets

You can never have enough storage baskets!  I use these in my office, my hall closet, and the playroom. Aside from looking great, they are collapsable, so they store away easily when not in use.  They make any open shelf unit look nice and neat.  And I love the beige/gray color combination

For the kids:

While were on the topic of letter boards, I find the use of a magnetic dry erase board super helpful in our home. We have a board like this on the side of our fridge. We use it to write reminders, grocery lists, and sometimes chores to be done. I will also use this board to go over letters and numbers with my toddler.

Also with 3 kids i have a calendar dry erase board, where everyone is color coded using these thin dry erase colored markers to help us remember where everyone needs to be.

 

A Ski Mask/Hat Combo

With the Bomb Cyclone winter storm that hit NY last week, I was so happy to have these mask/hats on hand.  My kids could go outside to help shovel and play in the snow without me worrying that they will come in with windburned cheeks and ears.  There are so many colors to choose from and some options offer you 2 for a better deal.

Best Overnight Underwear

I know this may be the least exciting item in my post, but these bedtime underwear are game changing.  My toddler is rapidly growing out of diaper sizes, but he’s not quite ready for potty training, especially throughout the night.  And while every child is different, my girlfriends and I think this style is one of the best!.  They come in XS, S/M & L/XL . Now that Damian is almost 2 I don’t need to carry around  big diaper bag.  This Justice League Lunch Bag is perfect to keep his snacks and Contigo Water Bottle from being crushed and I can just toss it in my Tote Bag.

In the Kitchen:

I LOVE my Presto FlipSide Belgian Waffle Maker

We love to make big breakfasts on the weekends.  And who doesn’t love waffles!!  I always wanted one of those fancy flip side waffle makers, but they take up so much room (and can be crazy expensive)!  The one can be stored upright and barely takes up any space at all.   Best part is it’s under $40! This waffle maker is great and the waffles come out crunchy on the outside while soft on the inside.  And it only takes 4 minutes!
If you’re not a fan of the flip feature I also have this Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker.  This waffle iron also makes crunchy and soft waffles in record time.  Whenever I need to make a big batch I break both irons out!

The Instant Pot

ICYMI the Instant Pot is my absolute new favorite appliance.  Check out my post here to read all about how much I love the Instant Pot and for a few yummy recipes.

Double Rich Chocolate Protein Powder

This low carb/low fat protein powder is awesome!  Its great pre or post workout, sometimes I’ll even use it as a meal replacement.  I always like to have this protein powder on hand at home or at work.  I normally like to mix it with almond milk but in a pinch can use water.
