I was asked to make a few items for a gender neutral baby shower.  My client was planning the shower for her sisters 1st baby and together we came up with a safari theme.

I made this diaper cake to be the main focal point of the gift table. It was created with over 100 Diapers and Bath Goodies.  (There’s a surprise bottle of wine in the middle for mommy-to-be after the baby comes!)

A whimsical guest book in pinks and blues

      

I think my favorite part of the party planning was the favors.  First I glued Mini Wild Jungle Animals to the lids of the Mason Jars.  I then spray painted the lids and tops gold (with a little help from my assistant).

                     

 

I used Speckled Beans for the fill to create an animal print feel, and placed a Linen Scented Candle inside.

                            

 

Using more gold painted animals I made this “Wild One” cake topper.  I also created and framed this print for the cake table and it can be used for the nursery.
